Terms and Conditions
Last updated: November 3, 2026
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Qontent Tube, including qontent.tube, the desktop application, documentation, pre-release software, licenses, and related support (the “Services”).
Qontent Tube is operated by La Rebelion Labs (“LRL,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) and is part of the La Rebelion Labs product family. By purchasing, downloading, or using Qontent Tube, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not download or use the Services.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding agreement. If you use Qontent Tube for an organization, you represent that you have authority to accept these Terms for that organization.
2. Qontent Tube
Qontent Tube is a Markdown-first desktop voice studio that helps creators organize scripts, reusable voice rosters, generated narration, playback, and related production files. It currently targets Windows and Linux.
The product is evolving. Pre-release and roadmap features may change, arrive later than expected, or not be released. Product sketches, previews, and roadmap descriptions are directional and are not guarantees.
3. License
The current private-preview offer grants a limited, non-transferable license to use the v0.x build that you legitimately obtain after email verification. The preview is currently available without payment. Availability of the current or any later download may be paused or ended at any time.
You may continue using any v0.x build you legitimately obtain through the private program without a time limit, subject to these Terms. Access to new downloads, updates, support, and private-preview features is available only while the program remains active and is not guaranteed.
Private-preview features are experimental. They may be removed, restricted, usage-limited, repackaged, separately priced, or unavailable in the public release. Preview access does not include, guarantee, or automatically convert into access to later preview versions, public-release versions, or equivalent public-release features. Continued access to later releases or particular features may require a separate purchase, subscription, or license. These changes do not retroactively disable a v0.x build you already obtained legitimately.
If you previously purchased Qontent Tube under an early-adopter or other paid offer, the rights attached to that purchase remain governed by the offer and Terms that applied to it. The current free preview does not reduce those rights or convert a historical purchase into a free-download record.
Unless a separate license says otherwise, you may not:
- Redistribute, resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially host the software for others.
- Circumvent license, payment, access, security, or usage controls.
- Reverse engineer the software except where applicable law expressly permits it.
- Remove ownership, copyright, or attribution notices.
- Use the La Rebelion Labs or Qontent Tube names and branding in a way that suggests endorsement or affiliation.
The software is licensed, not sold. La Rebelion Labs retains ownership of Qontent Tube, its source code, designs, documentation, branding, and related intellectual property.
4. Your scripts and generated content
You retain your rights in scripts, project files, and other content you provide. As between you and La Rebelion Labs, we do not claim ownership of narration or other output generated for you by the application.
Your rights in generated output may also depend on the terms of the voice or AI provider you select, the voices and materials used, and applicable law. You are responsible for confirming that you have the rights and permissions required to:
- Use and process each script or source file.
- Use selected voices, characters, names, likenesses, and other materials.
- Publish, monetize, or distribute generated content.
- Process personal, confidential, licensed, or regulated information.
Do not use Qontent Tube to impersonate, deceive, defame, harass, or violate another person's intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or contractual rights.
5. Third-party providers and costs
Qontent Tube may connect to third-party voice, AI, infrastructure, and payment providers. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
You are responsible for third-party accounts, credentials, fees, quotas, content rules, and provider availability. Qontent Tube preview access does not include third-party generation or API charges unless an offer expressly says otherwise.
We are not responsible for third-party service changes, outages, output quality, security, pricing, or discontinued features.
6. Verification, fulfillment, and historical payments
The current private-preview download does not require payment. You must verify control of the email address used for delivery. Verification creates a passwordless Qontent Tube access session and permits us to issue private download links. Transactional verification and fulfillment messages are required for this flow; product and launch updates remain optional.
Private download links are time-limited, usage-limited bearer links and must not be shared. We may pause fulfillment or revoke unused links while investigating automated abuse, unauthorized access, or a material security risk.
Stripe processed historical paid offers and may process future offers. For a paid offer, prices and included rights are those displayed at checkout, taxes may be collected where required, and fulfillment depends on successful payment confirmation. Refunds, cancellation rights, and statutory guarantees are governed by the applicable checkout terms and consumer law. Nothing in these Terms removes rights that cannot legally be waived.
7. Pre-release software
Private, alpha, beta, preview, and other pre-release versions may be incomplete and may contain defects. You should keep backups and avoid relying on pre-release software as the sole copy of production-critical work.
Pre-release access may include opportunities to provide feedback. We may use feedback, suggestions, and bug reports to improve our products without obligation or compensation, unless a separate written agreement states otherwise.
8. Your responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Securing your device, project files, backups, and provider credentials.
- Reviewing scripts, pronunciation, timing, narration, and generated output before publication.
- Complying with applicable laws, licenses, contracts, and platform rules.
- Maintaining an environment compatible with the documented system requirements.
- Paying third-party service charges arising from credentials you connect.
The current desktop release requires a supported Windows x64 or Linux x64 system and your own Deepgram API key plus internet access to generate narration. Finished video rendering additionally requires a compatible Chromium-family browser and ffmpeg 5 or later with H.264 (libx264) and AAC support. Optional AI drafting and automatic image generation require compatible third-party API access unless you use the documented manual workflows. These tools, accounts, credits, subscriptions, and usage charges are not included with the Qontent Tube download. Current details are listed in Runtime and provider requirements.
You agree not to attack, overload, scrape, disrupt, or attempt unauthorized access to the website, verification or download service, software, licensing systems, or related infrastructure.
9. Updates, availability, and support
We may update, replace, limit, or discontinue features and pre-release versions. Access to new preview downloads and updates ends when the private-preview program ends and does not create an entitlement to later preview or public-release builds, features, updates, or support. This does not end your right to use a v0.x build you already obtained legitimately. Historical purchasers retain the rights attached to their applicable paid offer.
Unless a separate support agreement says otherwise, support is provided on a reasonable-efforts basis without guaranteed response or resolution times. We do not guarantee that the Services will always be available, error-free, compatible with every environment, or suitable for every production workflow.
10. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how the website, email-verification and download service, historical checkout service, desktop application, and connected providers handle information. The desktop application is designed around local project storage, but information you choose to send to third-party providers is governed by their policies.
11. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Qontent Tube at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary because of:
- A violation of these Terms or an applicable license.
- Fraudulent payment, chargeback abuse, or unauthorized access.
- A legal requirement or material security risk.
- Discontinuation of a private or hosted Service.
Termination does not erase payment obligations or provisions that should reasonably survive, including intellectual-property, disclaimer, liability, and dispute provisions.
12. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, AVAILABILITY, SECURITY, OR PERFORMANCE.
We do not guarantee that generated voices or other outputs will be accurate, natural, original, legally usable, or suitable for your intended audience. You must review output before relying on or publishing it.
Some jurisdictions do not permit certain warranty exclusions, so portions of this section may not apply to you.
13. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LA REBELION LABS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, CONTENT, GOODWILL, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITIES ARISING FROM THE SERVICES.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to Qontent Tube will not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable Qontent Tube license during the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or USD $100 if you paid nothing.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to you.
14. Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless La Rebelion Labs from third-party claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable costs arising from your content, publication or use of generated output, violation of these Terms, violation of law, or infringement of another person's rights.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Qontent Tube evolves. We will update the date above and provide additional notice when required. Changes will not retroactively disable or remove the right to use a v0.x build legitimately obtained under the private-preview program or an applicable historical paid offer unless required by law or agreed with you.
If you do not agree to updated Terms, stop using the affected Services.
16. Governing terms
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which La Rebelion Labs operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional rights remain unaffected.
If a separate license, order form, or written commercial agreement conflicts with these Terms, the more specific agreement controls for its subject matter.
